Since the 1st of May, when we officially unveiled Suyana, many things have happened… So lets get up to speed!
The first piece of news is that Suyana has been selected to be part of PlayStation First, a program set up by Sony Interactive Entertainment Spain with the intention of encouraging the development of university projects and the creation of content for PlayStation platforms.
It’s an absolute honour and a privelege for us to form part of this project, because it gives us a unique opportunity to take the first small but important steps towards being able to launch Suyana for the PlayStation 4, the most sold console in the world.
This is only the beginning of what we hope to be a long journey with PlayStation Spain and, even though we cannot tell you much more about this -due to the fact that even we ourselves don’t know what the future will bring-, we can confirm that Suyana will be presented at the PlayStation Awards.
The second thing we want to tell you today, and leading on from what we have just told you, is that during this time Suyana has appeared on several websites and media platforms in our country, such as ESNE, the specialised magazine Vandal y the platform InnovaSpain, the latter including us in the “three most interesting projects” that ESNE University is developing, for the PlayStation.Awards.
This has both motivated and excited us, asit’s an indescribable feeling when you see your efforts start to bear fruit little by little.
And that brings us to the third and final thing we want to talk about today: development. In short, and as Espronceda would say, the development of Suyana “is going full steam ahead”. Very soon we will be presenting the game at a public event and will offer -for the first time- the opportunity for the attending public to try out a prototype/demo. We can’t wait for this day to arrive.
And that’s all for today! Don’t forgetto follow us on Twitter and like our Facebook page, above all bacause during the next month we are going to publing heaps of contentabout Suyana: screenshots, .gifs… and also vídeos! That’s as much as we can tell you…
Nobody said the path would be easy, but we believe that consistent daily effort is the best way to achieve our goals.
Lots of love,
The Mechanic Games team.
