At Mechanic Games, we are excited to share some great news: we have received the prestigious Open Innovation Challenge Prize 2024, awarded by Suncruise Andalucía. This recognition highlights our commitment to innovation and our ability to transform experiences through creative technology.
Our proposal, presented for the challenge “A Port for All: Development of Interactive Experiences for All Ages“, aims to boost tourism in both the Port of Huelva and the city of Huelva.
To achieve this, we designed a solution that emphasizes the history, culture, and attractions of the area. Moreover, we successfully combined learning, accessibility, and digital entertainment, providing a comprehensive experience. This project targets citizens, tourists, and schools, fostering interactive and educational experiences through gamification.
The Open Innovation Challenge Prize has become a benchmark for digital transformation, sustainability, and accessibility in Andalusian ports. This year, the forum held in Huelva brought together experts, entrepreneurs, and representatives from both the public and private sectors, establishing itself as a key space for discussing innovation and local development.
Soon, we will officially present our proposal. We are confident that it will inspire many other destinations to join this initiative. We believe that these digital tools can transform how people experience and enjoy tourist spaces, creating a positive impact on their communities.
